Clinton, Tennessee – Friday, Carrie Jenkins, age 43, had a Preliminary Hearing in Anderson County General Sessions Court, Division I on charges of Destruction of and Tampering with Governmental Records which is classified as an E Felony.
Jenkins had been previously charged by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office in May of 2025. At the conclusion of today’s hearing, Judge Victoria Bowling found probable cause to believe that the crime had occurred and that Mrs. Jenkins had committed that crime. On the basis of that finding, the State’s case against Carrie Jenkins was bound over to the Anderson County Grand Jury for further proceeding.
