PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) – Officials in Prichard will hold a press conference at 11:30 a.m. Monday to address public safety concerns after a recent spate of hit-and-run crashes, the city has announced.
Mayor Carletta Davis and Prichard Police Chief Walter Knight will provide updates about current investigations regarding what officials referred to as a sudden increase in hit-and-runs in the area. The cases include one in which authorities have a detailed description of the suspect vehicle, the city said in a release.
