A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Sunday at 5:34 p.m. for snow showers and rain until 6:15 p.m. for Suffolk and Nassau counties.
“At 5:32 p.m., a band of heavy snow was over Oyster Bay moving southeast at 30 MPH,” explains the weather service.
