AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — LEGO fans filled the civic center on Saturday as the Amarillo Brick Convention wrapped up its first day, bringing together professional LEGO artists, local builders, and families from across the area.
The two-day convention features large-scale LEGO displays, interactive build stations for kids, and vendors selling sets, minifigures, and custom pieces. Organizers said the event builds on the success of last year’s debut in Amarillo.

Show manager, Jeremy Douma, said the goal is to give visitors a hands-on experience while showcasing the creativity behind LEGO art.
“You can expect to see a lot of cool creations that people have made, meet a lot of master builders, and do a lot of shopping,” Douma said. “There’s also a lot of interactive activities for people to use.”…
