CONROE, Texas — A coordinated effort by the Montgomery County Auto Theft Task Force and the Texas Department of Public Safety led to the recovery of ten stolen vehicles on January 8, 2026. Authorities are now seeking public assistance in locating the suspect, 34-year-old Justin Blake Bowman.
The investigation began when detectives and agents tracked Bowman, who had an outstanding felony warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle in Montgomery County, to a specific location. As law enforcement attempted to intercept him, Bowman fled in a truck towing a trailer with another vehicle, initiating a pursuit by Harris County Precinct 4 Constables. The chase ended when Bowman abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot, according to a press release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Upon securing the scene, investigators confirmed the truck driven by Bowman was reported stolen from Harris County three days earlier. Further inspection revealed both the trailer and the vehicle it carried were also stolen.
