ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — A McLean man will serve the next year and nine months in prison for an over $1 million luxury watch scheme, according to the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Jaivin Raj Karnani, 45, was convicted of mail fraud and is ordered to forfeit $1,280,647.99 as well as the 23 luxury watches seized from his home. The watch brands included Rolex, Moser, Oris, Chanel, Tissot, Tudor, Omega, Porsche, Gucci, and Chopard.
