LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas developer known for his work in the Arts District wants to bring a new project to Symphony Park, answering the growing community’s needs for a neighborhood grocery store and other amenities.
Gary Creagh has plans to build a mixed-use midrise called The Mid-Century Modern, near the corner of Bonneville Ave & Promenade Pl.

“I like to do things that are a little different,” Creagh said. “I don’t like that cookie-cutter stuff. I want to bring in unique businesses, but also businesses that people need.”
Plans for The Mid-Century Modern include a full-sized gym and grocery store, which Creagh hopes will remedy the commute he and other downtown residents deal with.
“Both of them take me 20 minutes, on average, to get to, 15 on a good day and 35 on a bad day,” Creagh said. “That’s just not sustainable. For most people, they don’t have that much time to go an hour both ways before they even get a workout in.”…
