CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Mechanicsburg woman has been charged after allegedly defrauding and abusing a 67-year-old blind man whom she was taking care of.
According to an affidavit filed Jan. 2, Jacqueline Williams, 35, transferred $3,100 from the man’s checking account to her friend’s bank account. The friend then transferred the money to Williams for personal use.
Police say Williams admitted to the transfer and told them, “She believes this money was owed to her for all the work and his care that she has done for him.”…
