Roanoke, Virginia – Confidence is increasing that a midweek snow event could bring travel disruptions to parts of southwest Virginia, particularly across higher elevations, from Wednesday night into Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service in Blacksburg, the greatest risk for accumulating snow will be focused across the mountains, where there is a growing probability of measurable snowfall.
