Study finds Virginia ranked among strictest states for DUI penalties

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Virginia State Police made over 100 DUI arrests during its New Year’s holiday “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.

According to a study by Maryland’s Maronick Law firm, Virginia ranks as the 3rd strictest state in the U.S. for DUI penalties, behind Arizona and Alaska.
