City activates inclement weather shelters ahead of a cold Sunday night

The city of San Diego’s inclement weather shelter program for those experiencing homelessness has been activated by the San Diego Housing Commission for Sunday evening.

The program opens additional shelters, generally through the months of November to March, when the weather is exceptionally wet or cold.
