First street soccer park to open in San Diego

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A new community soccer park aimed at empowering youth and adults alike is coming to City Heights this February.

Street Soccer USA announced plans to open its first San Diego location, the Adam R. Scripps Street Soccer Park, at Horace Mann Middle School. The park is designed to be more than just a place to play, offering free soccer programming, mentorship and life-skills development for people of all ages and backgrounds.
