SYRACUSE, N.Y. — This week, the first of six people involved in a drug trafficking ring inside the Parkside Commons apartment building in Syracuse was sentenced. The trafficking ring operated like a business; there were managers, employees, shift changes, and more.
Victor Medina Parilla, 33, was charged with enterprise corruption. He pled guilty. Enterprise corruption involves people operating a pattern of crime within an organization (a criminal enterprise) for profit.
