SUFFOLK, Va. — A judge found a man not guilty of holding students against their will in a Suffolk elementary school bathroom.
The incident happened in June of 2024 at Kilby Shores Elementary School. Police said Vontrail Thorpe entered the school as students and teachers were headed to recess. The school was placed on lockdown.
