Iowa state lawmaker announces legislation following Minneapolis shooting

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – An Iowa state representative is trying to get ready for what he believes will be increased immigration enforcement in the Quad Cities.

State Representative Ken Croken announced that he’s introduced two bills in the upcoming Iowa legislative session to help ensure the safety of people in the Quad Cities during a press conference on Friday.

One would ban law enforcement from wearing masks, and another would ban the apprehension and detention of people in court houses, schools and churches…
