A Minnesota woman was arrested in West Des Moines early Monday after she allegedly struck a Minnesota man in the head with a pet food bowl.
Lilly Alejandra Lopez, 22, of 675 Cimarron, Lake Elmo, Minnesota, was charged with assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.
The incident began about 11:45 p.m. Sunday at a residence in the 7000 block of Lake Drive in West Des Moines, where Lopez allegedly struck the victim “multiple times in the face and head with an aluminum dog dish,” according to court records…
