Construction underway for INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington in March

ARLINGTON, Texas — There are only two months until the INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington begins, and construction is underway to prepare for the three-day event.

Officials with the event say road preparations are slowly wrapping up, and diamond grinding is underway on roads around Globe Life Field to smooth out the pavement surface along the routes for the races.

A number of preparations are being made for the event over the coming weeks. On Monday in Lot 4 of AT&T Stadium, a bridge suite structure will begin construction. On Feb. 2 in Lots B and C, barricades, fencing, grandstands and other items will be loaded in. And, on Feb. 12, construction will begin on the track at Randol Mill and Stadium Drive…
