AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said a man in his 20s was killed in a north Austin shooting on Sunday, according to Public Information Officer Aaron Townsend.

Shortly before 8 p.m., APD responded to 9415 N. Lamar Blvd., near Rundberg Lane. Police said a 911 caller reported there were multiple gunshots heard in the area, said Townsend.
When officers got to the scene, they found the man with “obvious trauma” to his body. First responders attempted to help the man; however, he was declared dead at 8:15 p.m., said Townsend.
Townsend said APD officers are searching for two suspects, seen inside a black Dodge Charger or Challenger, who the department believes to be connected to the homicide.
