On December 31, 2025, at approximately 11:17 PM, Deputy H. Atluri conducted a traffic stop at the 2200 block of E Sam Houston Twy N, on a white Chevrolet Silverado for multiple traffic violations. Deputy Atluri made contact with the driver, who displayed multiple signs of intoxication.
The driver was identified as 40-year-old Eliseo Soza. Deputy Atluri administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and determined the driver was unable to operate a motor vehicle safely. A check of his criminal record revealed four prior DWI convictions…
