ROCKFORD, IL — Days after Renee Good was shot and killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Minneapolis, hundreds of Rockford-area residents gathered in protest in downtown Rockford.
In the 400 block of East State Street about 150 people carried signs, marched and chanted.
Organized by a coalition of groups including Stateline Indivisible, ACLU-IL Rockford and Welcome with Dignity 815, protesters at “ICE Out for Good” said they were protesting the killing of Good and others at the hands of ICE agents.
