A federal jury has convicted a Denver man on multiple drug and firearm charges stemming from an arrest in southwest Missouri.
Jason S. Thompson, 50, was found guilty of three felony counts: possessing fentanyl with intent to distribute, possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking offense, and being a felon in possession of firearms.
The case originated during the early morning hours of Aug. 30, 2024, when officers with the Nixa Police Department encountered Thompson, who was camping inside a minivan parked at the Nixa Walmart.
