Piada Italian Street Food to Debut in Greater San Antonio Area in 2026

Piada Italian Street Food is set to make its debut in the Greater San Antonio region early this year. According to a recently filed state permit, the Italian cuisine restaurant chain will open in the Huebner Oaks Center at 11745 I-10 West, Suite 501. Culture Map reports that Piada Italian Street Food is planning to open a second location in Schertz Station at 18430 I-35 N.

Construction on the Huebner Oaks Center Piada Italian Street food is slated to start at the end of this month and wrap up at the beginning of March 2026. Both eateries are expected to be open by this Spring.

Piada Italian Street Food blends ancient Italian tradition with modern fast-casual dining. The eatery is inspired by the centuries-old piadina flatbread of Rimini, Italy, and brought to the US by founder Chris Doody after seeing street food carts there around 2008-2009.
