Cooler start to the workweek, limited rain chances

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Sunday was mostly cloudy with cool high temperatures in the 60s.

Tonight, lows will be in the 30s and 40s with a mix of clouds and calm winds.

Partly sunny skies tomorrow with light winds and seasonable high temperatures returning to the low 60s.

Rain Chances?

An upper level low moves into Central Texas on Tuesday, bringing very low rain chances to the area. Highest rain chances will be in the Hill Country, rapidly decreasing east of I-35.

Rain totals looks light for now, with a few hundredths of an inch expected in parts of our area.

Cold Fronts

High temperatures climb to the 70s on Wednesday, before a dry cold front arrives, bumping highs back down to the 60s on Thursday and Friday.

A stronger cold front on Friday is set to bring strong wind gusts, much cooler air and limited rain chances into next weekend.
