LEBANON, Ore. – A Lebanon woman is facing serious charges related to a robbery and murder that occurred in October 2025.
Ashlee Lathrop, 31, was charged last week in Linn County Circuit Court for the death of Christopher Joseph Smith on Oct. 4. Smith was discovered shot in his 2013 Chevrolet Camaro after it crashed into a fence on Highway 34 and Peoria Road near Corvallis. The shooting allegedly took place in a nearby parking lot before the crash.
Medics responding to the crash found Smith with a gunshot wound. Tragically, he died at the scene…
