PIMA COUNTY, Ariz. — The Pima Sheriff’s Department is investigating a deputy-involved shooting that happened late Sunday night in northwest Tucson.
According to authorities, the incident happened shortly before 11 p.m. in the 8500 block of North Joplin Lane. Detectives with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department Fugitive Investigative Unit were trying to serve an arrest warrant on two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery investigation.
