PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – Iranian immigrants in Portland rallied at Pioneer Square Sunday to support protesters in their home country, saying they haven’t been able to communicate with loved ones for days due to an ongoing internet blackout.
Leila Boini, who moved to Portland from Iran, said she watched crowds protesting the Iranian government flood the streets of her home country until Thursday.
