Stark County Sheriff tracks down man out on parole for murder with drone

STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – The Stark County Sheriff’s Department used a drone to find a man wanted for a parole violation after he fled a traffic accident in Nimishillen Township.

After deputies learned that the man, 56-year-old John David Osler, was on parole for a 1992 Cuyahoga County murder and had an active warrant for a parole violation, the department launched the drone, sweeping over the area and quickly spotting the man hiding in nearby woods.
