4th person charged in 2025 Bessemer beating death

BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC) – A fourth person has been charged with capital murder in connection to the beating death of a man during a robbery in Bessemer.

Antonious Jaquez Eaton is charged with capital murder during a robbery, according to court documents. Authorities say Eaton and three others beat Jarrett Parker to death while trying to steal his clothes.

The incident happened on Nov. 26 shortly before 12:30 p.m., according to court records.

Three other suspects were arrested in early December in connection with Parker’s death. Antwaniqua Vannae Smith, Jimmy Lee Wells and Ronald Ray Ross Jr. are charged with first-degree robbery and capital murder during a robbery.
