A Boston man faces more than a decade in prison after being convicted of a string of robberies, including of older people at gunpoint, officials said.
Edwin Santo, 23, of Boston, was sentenced on Monday to 10 to 12 years in state prison for five counts of unarmed robbery of a person 60 and over, plus two years and a day for one count of breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony. He was ordered to three years of probation after his release.
