The CODfather Proper Fish & Chips in North Charleston expected to close

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The CODfather Proper Fish & Chips, a North Charleston staple, is expected to close its doors soon.

The restaurant, which opened in 2016, is popular for its fried North Atlantic cod filet, hand-cut french fries and other specialties. According to a post on social media, the restaurant isn’t closing immediately. It will remain open until its lease, located at 4254 Spruill Ave, sells.

“Listen, it’s been great and a huge success, time for me to bow out and move on,” Adam Randall wrote on the restaurant’s Facebook page. “This has been the biggest achievement of my life, and I am so very proud of it.”…
