OAK GROVE, KY – Production has officially wrapped in Oak Grove as a new film project, The Wedding Suite, shot on location at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel, showcases the region’s dynamic settings, welcoming community, and growing role in film and television production.
Directed by Christopher Lee Herod, the film’s plot centers around a bride who finds out her fiancé has been unfaithful right before the wedding. Herod’s IMdb page lists him as a filmmaker who is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former Army Reservist currently based in Nashville, Tennessee.
The project highlights Oak Grove’s versatility as a filming destination, utilizing the distinctive atmosphere and amenities of Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel as a key backdrop. The production marks another milestone for Western Kentucky as it continues to attract high-quality film and television projects.
