NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Work is underway on the second Target store in Norfolk, and it’s about to impact traffic in the area.
The company put its bullseye on Norfolk’s Wards Corner. A new store is being built at the long-vacant Kroger location along East Little Creek Road.
WAVY reported in 2023 that the new store had been approved. This past September, the city of Norfolk made it social media official. Target now has the 129,000-square-foot Wards Corner location featured on its future store openings page.
