The North Georgia Community Foundation (NGCF) recently announced a legacy gift of millions of dollars from a local couple.
Anne Thomas, the wife of local businessman and church leader George Thomas, passed away in March of 2025.
The Thomases moved to Gainesville in 1956, where George bought Ford Farm and Industrial Equipment. George passed away in 2017.
