Repeat Offender Arrested Twice by Murrieta SET for Drug Trafficking and Firearm Possession

In a series of law enforcement operations that paint a picture of continuous criminal activity, a man identified as a known cocaine dealer in southwest Riverside County has been arrested not once, but twice within a recent span of time. The Murrieta Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) is at the forefront of these events, having first taken the suspect into custody after recovering a multitude of drugs, weapons, and cash.

According to KTLA, their initial find included “1.2 pounds of powder cocaine, 3 pounds of processed marijuana, two firearms: One a ghost pistol and the other unregistered, and $22,638.26 in U.S. currency.” Despite facing three felony charges, the suspect was bailed out the following day, only for the SET to unearth more illicit activities linked to him at another location.

The second search warrant led detectives to more contraband, as noted in the Murrieta Police Department’s Instagram post, revealing “2 pounds of processed marijuana, five rifles, three shotguns, and six high-capacity magazines.” The authorities also discovered two stolen dirt bikes, with one tied to a past burglary in Murrieta around January of last year, and the other taken from Camp Pendleton.
