Adian Gomley, Director of Global Communications at the Parker Lord Corporation made this statement in regards on the newly voted labor agreements made on Jan. 10.
“On January 10, team members at our Parker Lord facility in Erie, Pa., who are represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), voted on new labor agreements.”
He continues, “Team members represented by IAM Local 1968 voted not to strike, and therefore their new five-year labor agreement has taken effect. Team members represented by IAM Local 1211 voted down the proposed agreement and have chosen to strike.” Gomley states, “Our first priority is the safety of our team and our community. We have implemented our business continuity plans to maintain safe and compliant operations.”…
