GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. — State investigators are sharing additional information about the ambush shooting of a South Carolina officer, with new video showing the suspect firing an apparent incendiary device.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning as a Greenville Police officer was sitting in his parked patrol car at the Greenville County Law Enforcement Center.
Video shared by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) shows a vehicle driving up alongside the patrol vehicle and firing something that erupts in streams of fire.
The officer was injured and taken to the hospital, but was later released. Authorities identified the suspect’s vehicle, and he was spotted by Greenville County Sheriff’s Office deputies…
