2 weapons found at Cummings High School in Burlington police say; 1 student charged

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — Two weapons were found on the campus of Cummings High School on Friday, according to the Burlington Police Department.

According to police, the school informed deputies that a weapon was potentially on school grounds. At the school, officers found and confiscated two weapons.

One student was charged. Police were unable to release additional information about the suspect due to the suspect’s age. The Alamance-Burlington School System reports that the student was immediately removed from campus.
