Asheboro police make series of arrests, charge person they say was trying to deliver meth to wrong home

ASHEBORO, N.C. — Asheboro authorities say a series of overnight incidents led to multiple arrests, drug seizures and the recovery of a missing juvenile during separate calls handled by officers early this morning.

Police were first called around 1:45 a.m. to a report of an unknown man attempting to break into a residence. Officer K. Brown arrested the suspect, who investigators say was trying to deliver methamphetamine to the wrong address.

The man was charged with felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and additional related charges…
