LAKESIDE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man died after his motorcycle crashed into an electrical pole in East County over the weekend, authorities said.
The crash happened on Saturday, Jan. 10 around 5:50 p.m. The 55-year-old man was riding his motorcycle eastbound on El Monte Road at Omas Dirt Road, according to California Highway Patrol.

For reasons still under investigation, the motorcycle veered right and crashed into a metal electrical pole.
