New Orleans Police say a man is dead and another injured in a double shooting at the corner of Brevard Ave. and Dinkins St. in eastern New Orleans.
Police say shortly after 12:30 p.m. Monday, officers were sent to investigate a shooting reported in that location.
“Upon arrival, officers located two adult males — a 24-year-old and a 43-year-old — both suffering from gunshot wounds,” New Orleans Police said in a statement. “Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment, where the 24-year-old victim was pronounced deceased.”…
