Man accused of stealing more than $150,000 from vulnerable Lancaster County adult

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A man was arrested after he was accused of stealing more than $150,000 from a vulnerable adult in Lancaster County, court records stated.

According to court documents, Timothy Sassman, 53, was charged with theft by shoplifting over $5,000 and abuse of a vulnerable adult.

If found guilty, Sassman faces up to 23 years behind bars, 18 months post-release supervision and a $10,000 fine.
