SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -A Springfield man faces multiple charges after a hostage situation Thursday night.
At around 11 p.m. Jan. 8, Greene County deputies responded to a hostage situation involving a suspect, Clinton Haynes, and a female victim in the area of Highway 160 and Farm Road 115 in Willard. Haynes made threats to shoot the victim if police were called, court records state.
Dispatch told deputies that Haynes was in a black car en route to Springfield with the victim. Dispatch then began a ping on the victim’s phone to find her location. Deputies said they were able to confirm the make and model of the car through a prior domestic assault case out of Willard PD…
