Federal agents fired “less-lethal” weapons and tear gas at a group of protesters Sunday evening outside the Whipple Federal Building in south Minneapolis, which has become the scene of an ongoing protest since an ICE agent killed Renee Macklin Good in Minneapolis on Wednesday.
Video of the incident was captured by, among others, WCCO reporter Adam Duxter, who reported that a “fight in the crowd” may have predicated the advance by armed Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents on Sunday evening.
The footage shows a number of agents suddenly running towards the crowd, with sounds of “less-lethal” weapons firing, canisters of tear gas spinning into the crowd, and what sounded like flash-bangs being set off…
