SAN ANTONIO – A major crash along a busy downtown highway left a luxury vehicle heavily damaged.
The incident took place early Sunday morning around 4:39 a.m., when SAPD officer were called to a single-vehicle accident on the northbound IH-37 south off-ramp to westbound IH-10 East. Police say a 24-year-old white male was driving a BMW when the car struck a guardrail, causing significant damage.
When SAPD arrived at the scene, the driver had taken off on foot. Police located and apprehended the suspect a short distance away. It was during the arrest that officers allegedly found the suspect with drugs…
