EUGENE, Ore. — Starting Fall 2026, the University of Oregon Resident Assistant (RA) role will be evolving.
The RA role will be split into two, called Community Assistants (CAs) and Community Safety Assistants (CSAs).
Per the University, “The traditional RA role combined many responsibilities—community building, event planning, safety, and emergency response—into one position.
