Fort Myers advocate crowned International Ms. North America 2026

Kristianna Mrjenovich, a well-known community advocate known as the “Second Chance Queen”, entrepreneur, and founder of the Flutters of Hope Project, has been officially crowned International Ms. North America 2026. The prestigious title recognizes her leadership, philanthropy, and dedication to empowering women, survivors of domestic abuse, and raising confident girls.

Mrjenovich competed in the International Ms. System on Jan. 4, 2026, in Orlando, Florida, alongside delegates from across the United States, impressing judges with her platform, community outreach, and personal impact story. Along with the crown, she was also a finalist for the Still She Rose commitment to wellness grant and was awarded the “Director’s Leadership” award. Her winning platform is built around her S.E.L.F. Method of confidence building, which she created to help women rebuild confidence and reclaim their lives after trauma, as well as to teach young girls how to establish self-worth from a young age. She taught her method to over 350 local Girl Scouts in 2025 alone.

“Winning International Ms. North America 2026 isn’t about the crown,” said Mrjenovich. “It’s about using this title to amplify the voices of women who feel unseen, unheard, or unworthy. I want every woman and survivor to know: you are not broken, you are becoming.”…
