The technology triggered an alert for a vehicle implicated in an attempted armed robbery in Maury County last week, allowing law enforcement to put their strategic pursuit prevention and apprehension plan into motion, a recent post from the Mt. Juliet Police indicated.

Once the 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross was detected entering Mt. Juliet at the intersection of S. Mt. Juliet Road and Central Pike, officers coordinated with the Advanced Response Communications Center for real-time updates; they found the suspect vehicle parked at a local Walmart, vacant, at which point officers set up covert surveillance.
