Rochester, N.Y. — Actor-singer Taye Diggs and local band The Skycoasters will be inducted into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame as part of its 2026 class, the hall announced Monday morning.
Diggs and The Skycoasters are the first two inductees to be announced. The Hall of Fame said in a press release that more inductees would be announced in the coming weeks.
Diggs, who grew up in Rochester and graduated from School of the Arts, has starred in Broadway hits like “Rent” and “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.”…
