SALEM, Va. (WDBJ) – After years of construction and lane closures on Interstate 81 in Salem, drivers may finally see relief by late summer.
The Virginia Department of Transportation project, which began in 2022, is entering its final stretch with completion expected in the coming months, according to VDOT spokesperson Jenna Zibton.
