CANTON, Ohio — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost is asking a judge to shut down a Canton nursing home after state inspectors reported widespread care failures that they say are putting residents in immediate danger.
Yost filed for a temporary restraining order and injunction in Stark County Common Pleas Court on behalf of the Ohio Department of Health, targeting the House of Loreto at 2812 Harvard Ave. Inspectors said problems at the facility have created a “real and present danger” to residents.
